BANBURY AIR CADETS

The Air Training Corps, better known as Air Cadets, offers incredible opportunities and experiences for young people aged between 13 and 20 years of age.

Here at 1460 (Banbury) squadron, our list of activities is long and varied and we encourage all cadets to experience as much as possible and fulfill their potential. Banbury Squadron is very proud to be a dedicated band squadron, participating in Band Competitions and leading local Remberance Parades. The Band is open to all cadets, no experience required.

Cadets are given the opportunity to do things that others only dream about. Real flight experience, adventurous training and camps, sometimes overseas, competitive sports, drill, shooting, music, abseiling. All normal for cadets. There are even opportunities to turn Air Cadet experiences into BTEC vocational qualifications with barely any additional work.

We meet twice a week, and there are plenty of activities and events at weekends and during school holidays.

Parade Nights:

Monday 7-9.30pm

Wednesday, our dedicated band night, 7.30-9pm
